Constructing Equality Ltd have been working with ISG since 2013 and have helped the company achieve their desired accreditation in the Be Fair Framework

In January 2014, ISG achieved their accreditation for CITB’s Be Fair Framework after being assessed by Constructing Equality Ltd.

Also in January 2014, ISG enlisted Constructing Equality Ltd to deliver their training course on "Career Development for Women in Construction” for members of their workforce. The success of the programme has led to further courses the last being delivered in June 2014 and others forthcoming.

In August 2014 Constructing Equality Ltd and ISG worked together again to bring a construction industry presence to Liverpool Pride.

Their passion for the framework was evident from the very beginning and without their knowledge and encouragement I would have definitely found it a lot more difficult to achieve the accreditation. Developing an equality and diversity framework that addresses the needs and expectations of our clients, customer communities and our workforce was challenging but highly rewarding. The accreditation itself was overseen by a core team who were supported by Constructing Equality. They made sure that all aspects of the framework were incorporated into the Company’s current policies and documentation, including guidance on providing tool box talks on site and making sure that the Company’s supply chain committed to the framework before starting on a project. All Carefoot employees are now aware of equality and diversity issues with myself as BE FaIR Champion making sure that the Company continues to focus on this positive CITB initiative.”
We designed and delivered lectures in equality and diversity for The University of Salford’s HND and HNC students.
We have designed and delivered courses for CITB’s people as well as on behalf of them as a training provider. In turn, we have also acted in a consulting capacity to them and for their work programmes, and represented them at the House of Lords.

We have regularly worked with Construction Manager magazine (the official magazine of the CIOB) and Building Magazine, putting together CPD articles, writing opinion pieces, sending letters, giving interviews, taking part and arranging focus groups and providing advice.
