The Considerate Constructors Scheme’s National Company Awards 2012 took place on the 29th November, where the most considerate companies registered with the Scheme were recognised for their hard work and dedication towards improving the image of construction.
The awards ceremony took place at Plaisterers’ Hall in London, and from over 500 registered companies, only 59 received awards, consisting of 34 Bronze, 15 Silver and 10 Gold. Peter Norris (Haulage) Ltd, for their outstanding commitment to considerate construction, was given the prestigious title of Most Considerate Company 2012.
The Scheme wishes to congratulate all of this year’s winners for their achievement in winning a 2012 National Company Award. The awards ceremony was a great success and was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The ceremony was hosted by Scheme Chairman David Watson and the awards were presented by Suzannah Nichol MBE, Chief Executive of the National Specialist Contractors’ Council (NSCC).
Scheme Chairman David Watson said: “I would like to congratulate all of this year’s winners on the Scheme’s behalf, as every company who have received an award have proven their commitment towards improving the image of construction.
“This is the second year of the National Company Awards, and our Monitors have seen a positive change in the way registered companies carry out their projects, with those receiving an award making an outstanding effort.”
Suzannah Nichol MBE, Chief Executive of the NSCC, added: “NSCC supports the Considerate Constructors Scheme which encourages best practice beyond legal requirements enabling the construction industry to continue to improve its image. Safe, well run sites are a priority for all contractors and clients and Company Registration means that Specialist Contractors can now demonstrate their commitment to raising standards by registering both their sites and their companies with the Scheme.”
